As a therapist, I know that when people need therapy, they usually need it now, and not months down the road. To alleviate this issue, I have come up with with making myself available to you within usually a 24 hour turnaround. We can be FaceTime in talking on the phone or using zoom. You can travel to see me or we can do therapy, including Hypnosis, in the comfort of your own home, in your room, or on your couch, for your convenience. All you need is a pair of earbuds or headsets and you can just sit back relax and enjoy the ride. I have clients all over the world, so using the phone, zoom, or FaceTime is just as effective as having a session in person.
Unfortunately, Hypnotherapy is usually the last ditch effort to resolve a persons issues when it should be the first thing that you utilize since it has the most overall success rate. People usually come to me after they’ve tried everything else, to no avail.
I discovered Hypnosis 30 years ago when I had bad claustrophobia and regular talk therapy didn’t work. I was living in California, and I found a hypnotherapist and in six sessions my claustrophobia was miraculously gone. One of the best things about Hypnosis is there are no drugs involved so you don’t feel weird… You actually feel wonderful when you’re in trance.
What Hypnosis Does:
Think about your brain like a big computer and what I do is, I go into the hard drive of your computer and release old behavior, patterns, and old triggers that keep you stuck in continuing the same behavior .
Our subconscious and unconscious mind is actually running our show and that’s why many times talk therapy is not as effective as Hypnotherapy because I am getting down to the core of where the issue originated.
Who Does Hypnotherapy to work on?
Just about anyone except people with schizophrenia.
What you need in preparation for your sessions:
Comfortable clothing, earbuds, or a headset. Just be comfortable, preferably a darker area, away from conversation, TV, radio, or other distractions, in your bedroom, in your bed, on the couch, or a chair.
Our first session will be an hour and a half where I will do a medical intake and discuss your issues to find out your triggers, which takes about 30 minutes and then we will have a one hour session.
